My name is Jessica Meltzer. I trained as a therapeutic massage therapist at the Spa Tech Institute from 2009 to 2010 and am licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
I am trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, chair massage, elder massage, hospice massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, reflexology, and Reiki.
For several years I have volunteered with the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association. A couple of months ago I stepped back from that to focus on my volunteer work as the co-president for my school district's SEPAC committee.
For a complete bio including my educational background and approach to massage therapy, simply give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Alternatively you can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn via my name, Jessica Meltzer. Links to my Facebook page and Twitter are on the home page here.
In addition to my work as a massage therapist I have been an active volunteer in my community and professional organization, the AMTA.
In my life before becoming a massage therapist I earned a BA in English from SUNY Plattsburgh and worked as a reporter, publisher's assistant, editor and technical writer. I also spent several years working as the Clinical Coordinator for the Gerontology division of a major teaching hospital in Boston, MA.
